CPU-G (GTK Hardware Utility) is a freeware that shows useful information about main devices of your system  hardware. It collects and displays information about your CPU name and number, RAM, Motherboard,cache levels,mainboard and chipse and more.
Real time measurement of memory frequency and each core's internal frequency is also displayed...



Add repository in terminal,update and install cpu-g using apt-get.

In Terminal:

• sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cpug-devs/ppa
• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get install cpu-g

QtCreator + QMake+BOOST on Windows7&Above

Working  with Boost libraries on Windows 7 ,here you can check for the below prerequisites.Qt,Boost.

C:\Qt\Qt5.4.1 installed.

Boost Zip file is extracted to BOOST_ROOT directory, like this.

C:\BOOST_ROOT

Now create a sample Qt Console application in QtCreator,open the .pro file,add the INCLUDEPATH  and LIBS variable,Now  in the main.cpp include required  header  for eg:

India's population is expanding faster than ever. By 2050, India will have an estimated 1.5 billion people. The population well over half the estimated total 1.5 billion people will be living in cities. We need cities with “smart" infrastructure, otherwise daily life could slowly ground to a halt.

In accordance With the new State formation in India, every year an equivalent of 7 cities will be added over the next 20 years, As a result, cities make up a large part of India population.

A large number of cities in India face energy, environmental and climate-related challenges now and in the future. Future cities need to have stable energy, fresh and potable water, efficient transportation, resource management and efficient governance.

Around 70% of the global greenhouse gas emissions are from the cities, if future cities in India focus on reducing CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions that would directly impact the quality of life of people living.

Leadership is the main driver in building Future smart cities. To build a practical smart city, citizens also need to be smart, cooperative, while the leaders should look for the investors. Once the future city is ready it is the citizen’s responsibility to maintain the city. Citizens should be connected well so when there is any need the respective department or the people themselves should come forward to attend.

As per the research carried out by European Union Smart city has the following six dimensions.

Benchmarks for Smart Cities

At least 20% of all residential units to be occupied by economically weaker sections in each Transit Oriented Development Zone 800m from Transit Stations. At least 30% residential and 30% commercial/institutional in every TOD Zone within 800m of Transit Stations.
3	Water Supply	24 x 7 supply of water. 100% household with direct water supply connections. 135 litres of per capita supply of water. 100% metering of water connections. 100% efficiency in collection of water related charges.
4	Sewerage & Sanitation	100% households should have access to toilets. 100% schools should have separate toilets for girls. 100% households should be connected to the waste water network. 100% efficiency in the collection and treatment of waste water. 100% efficiency in the collection of sewerage network.
5	Solid Waste Management	100% households are covered by daily door-step collection system. 100% collection of municipal solid waste. 100% segregation of waste at source, i.e. bio-degradable and non-degradable waste. 100% recycling of solid waste.
6	Storm Water Drainage	100% coverage of road network with storm water drainage network. Aggregate number of incidents of water logging reported in a Year = 0. 100% rainwater harvesting.
7	Electricity	100% households have electricity connection. 24 x 7 supply of electricity. 100% metering of electricity supply. 100% recovery of cost. Tariff slabs that work towards minimizing waste.
8	Health Care Facilities	30 minutes emergency response time. 1 dispensary for every 15,000 residents. Nursing home, child, welfare and maternity, centre - 25 to 30 beds per lakh population. Intermediate Hospital (Category B) - 80 beds per lakh population. Intermediate Hospital (Category A) - 200 beds per lakh population. Multi-Specialty Hospital - 200 beds per lakh population.
9	Fire Fighting	1 fire station per 2 lakh population / 5-7km radius. 1 sub – fire station with 3-4 km radius.
10	Others	Use of renewable energy in all sectors. Rooftop solar panels on all public, institutional and commercial buildings as well as multi-storeyed residential housings. Adherence to green building norms.

CMake+BOOST+GLUT+Qt4.8.1+QtCreator on Ubuntu-12.04

1.Install required tools.CMake,GLUT(freeglut3,freeglut3-dev) and X Miscellaneous Utilities headers(libxmu),X Input Device headers(libxi-dev) with this command.

sudo apt-get install cmake freeglut3-dev pkg-config build-essential libxmu-dev libxi-dev 

2.Qt-4.8.1 was installed already.
3 Export qmake PATH to ENV,using bash_profile or .profile as appropriate.or mention qmake PATH where ever necessary,like if the build files are generated using cmake-gui then for the QT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE  property name show the qmake PATH.
4.Show the BOOST path /usr/include/
6.Already the glut and glew dependencies are mentioned in the FindGLUT.cmake and FindGLEW.cmake files which are SET in the main CMakeLists.txt file.
5.configure and generate the build files and subsequently compile the project sources with make -j8.
